This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoMosaic.ai, a product of BillCore LLC ("PhotoMosaic.ai," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and mosaic service — including the photos you and your contributors upload to build a mosaic. By using PhotoMosaic.ai you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — when you create a mosaic project, we collect a name, email address, and (on purchase) billing details. Payment is handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Uploaded photos — the main image you choose for your mosaic, and the photos that you and your contributors upload to fill it.
- Communications — messages you send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, and basic analytics, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. Uploaded photos & mosaic processing
The core of the service is assembling uploaded photos into a single mosaic image using automated, AI-assisted processing.
- What is processed: the photos uploaded to a mosaic project are analyzed for color and tone and arranged as tiles to form the chosen main image.
- Purpose: uploaded photos are used to generate your mosaic preview and, after purchase, your downloadable high-resolution file.
- Processing: mosaic generation is performed by our application and may use third-party infrastructure or services to render results.
- No facial recognition: PhotoMosaic.ai does not use uploaded photos to identify individuals, to build a facial-recognition database, or to match faces across projects. Photos are processed as image tiles, not as identity data.
Attorney review required — image processing & third parties. Confirm and state accurately: (a) whether mosaic generation runs entirely on your own infrastructure or sends uploaded images to any third-party service or API, and name the category of provider if so; (b) whether uploaded source photos are retained after the mosaic is generated, or processed and deleted, and on what timeline; and (c) whether any provider may retain or train on uploaded images. The statements above are drafted conservatively but must match your actual processing pipeline.
3. How we use information
- To generate mosaic previews and downloadable files.
- To create and maintain your account and process payments.
- To provide support and respond to your messages.
- To secure, monitor, and improve the service.
- To send service-related communications (such as receipts and account notices).
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- Service providers — hosting, storage, payment processing, image-processing infrastructure, and analytics vendors acting on our behalf under contract.
- Within a mosaic project — uploaded photos are visible to the mosaic creator and, where the project is configured to allow it, to others with the project link.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Mosaic creators & contributors
PhotoMosaic.ai lets a creator start a mosaic and invite others to contribute photos through a shared link. The creator controls the project — who can contribute, what the mosaic is used for, and the downloaded result.
If you contributed a photo and want it removed, contact the mosaic creator, or email us and we'll work with the creator to address your request. Creators are responsible for having the right to use the photos collected and for any consent their contributors' images may require.
6. Data retention
We retain your account information and project content for as long as your account or project is active, and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you request earlier deletion. Billing records are kept as required for legal and accounting purposes.
Confirm with counsel: state the specific retention period for uploaded source photos and generated mosaics (for example, deleted X days after a project is completed or abandoned), and make sure it matches what your system actually does.
7. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You can also:
- Adjust cookie settings in your browser.
- Ask us to delete your account, projects, and uploaded photos.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
8. Children's privacy
PhotoMosaic.ai is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Mosaics may include photos of children supplied by adult creators and contributors, who are responsible for having the right to upload them. If you believe a child's information has been collected improperly, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
